Ok so. My main is a mess, I know that much. I’ll probably use it a lot less because of my sideblogs, so here’s a list for the people who actually care about any of the things I post;
I find it hilarious that denmark has to stoop to ragging on the finns (instead of doing it for I guess shits and giggles like the others), because all the other nordic languages rag on them for sounding like they’re mumbling with a mouth full of marbles. XD
Yup! The roots of the majority of European and many nearby languages is Indo-Eropean, which is the root of everything from English to Russian to Hindi to Persian and more!
Finnish however, as you said, has its roots in a different branch than Indo-European, the Uralic languages. There aren’t many of them - Finnish, Hungarian, and Estonian are the most widely spoken, but there’s a handful of others as well, mostly spoken by local ethnic groups in northern Scandinavia and Siberia.
My brother had this one Polish exchange student over, bc of his school, and the dude literally ate through like 6 bags in 2 days and he had bought 20 more because he was rich and said he had discovered his favourite snack. Frankly, it was hilarious.
It's like a super thin standard cake that you stab with a knife and then cover in melted sugar before baking >:O it was invented in Odense, if I remember correctly (H. C. Andersen's hometown)

87 year old grandmother from India brings joy into the hearts of transgender people all over the world
Kali published the following Instagram post on the role of her grandmother in her life in this Instagram post:
The necklace I’m wearing in this photo was the first gift my grandmother gave to me after I came out to show her support for my transition. My grandmother was and is still my biggest support in my life.Â
When I came out to her, I was scared she may not understand it and our relationship getting ruined. She was extremely worried at first about how society would treat me and had some health issues because of the stress, but she never let me know that she was worried.Â
Slowly with time, she started getting better and now Fully loves me as the woman I am. She was the one who helped me make my mom and other relatives understand and accept me.Â
I asked her if she wanted to be part of a reel for @officialhumansofbombay and she was so excited to do it with me and she said she wants to give a strong message to society to help every Transgender person out there to gain acceptance and love from their family.
